Craft books

Hurray for Japanese craft books. And a second hurray for used ones. I bought them in April when I was in Japan (first time). My boyfriend got heaps of books as well for his family (they are Japanese) so we shipped all of them by sea mail. No, Japan Post is not so slow - I received the books in June. I only took pictures recently - I am blaming it on the winter sun (could be I am lazy too :) ).

The oldest was published in 1986 and the newest in 2002. The best thing about them? All 7 for about 1500 Yen and all in excellent condition. What more could a newbie craftster ask for?

So there you go, if you go to Japan, make sure you trawl their second hand book shops - there is one at every corner. Craft books are a a bit rarer to come by but there is plenty of home living magazines and Gakken Mooks (not my thing though).
